Yes, this new traffic lane setup should be on a sign at the previous light. I have seen a lot of near misses where the right turn wants to go straight.

Yes, the signing is not very clear, to the point where I didn't notice it until recently after 2 years of going through there. There's a little sign in the lead-up but it's easily missed, and the arrows on the street are faded.

I nearly got taken out by a driver while crossing the intersection on bike and trying to get into the bike lane while the driver was going straight from the right turn lane. The answer for this is enforcement and ticketing.

I know that changes for traffic patterns are coming in Spring, but please oh please can we get a traffic cop here?

This intersection is horrible. Although proper signage is lacking, the lane directions are marked on the street. My belief is that drivers see the right lane as a faster way straight through the intersection, bypassing all law-abiding drivers in the straight lane. This results in a two-to-one merge, which ends up blocking the intersection and bike lanes. Law enforcement needs to get on this.
